Before de-installation, make sure that the supply voltage for the device is switched off.

The instrument may only be maintained and repaired by qualified personnel. The device documentation, applicable standards
and legal requirements as well as any certificates have to be observed!
Only modular assemblies may be exchanged against identical, original Endress+Hauser spare parts !
Ex i-devices: The repair has to be performed so, that the voltage isolation of the Ex ia circuits against ground is maintained.
If required, a test can be performed with 500 Veff over a time period of 60 s.

Mounting
Any repair of a certified device has to be documented!
This includes stating the device serial number, date of repair, type of repair and name of the repair technician.
The following tool is required:
• Flat screwdriver, size 1
• Torx screwdriver, size T10 (with long shaft)
Exchange of sensor:
1.
Unscrew cover
2.
If installed, remove display together with the display holder
from the electronics.

Unplug the display cable from electronics.

. Disconnect connection cables and potential earth.

Loosen the two mounting screws and remove the electronics.

Loosen the four screws from the mounting disc and remove
it.

Remove the sensor from housing

Insert the mouning disc into the housing.
The groove in the disc must fit to the guiding of the housing.
Mount the new sensor to the housing:

Allign the sensor to the groove and holes of the mounting
disc and fasten it with four screws.

For versions with display, plug display cable into the
electronics and clip the display with display holder onto the
electronics vertically.
Take care not to pinch the display cable.

Insert the electronics, tighten it with the two screws and
connect the power and internal ground to the housing.
For versions with display, plug display cable into the electronics
and clip the display with display holder onto the electronics
vertically. Take care not to pinch the display cable!
Finally screw on the cover.

Adjustment:
When switching on the instrument a recognition of the sensor is given. All sensor
parameters will be loaded into the electronics and the instrument will run without
a new adjustment.
