Inbetriebnahme des Geräts
Das Profil „Leistungskreise" ist für die meisten IT-Syste-
me geeignet. Eine Beschreibung der Profile finden Sie im
Handbuch.
Erstinbetriebnahme
Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme blendet das Gerät nach Zuschal-
ten der Betriebsspannung einen Inbetriebnahme-Assistenten
ein, den Sie schrittweise abarbeiten müssen. Das unten abgebil-
dete Schema zeigt den Verlauf.
Allgemeiner Ablauf der Inbetriebnahme
1. Prüfen auf korrekten Anschluss des ISOMETER®s an das zu über-
wachende Netz.
2. Versorgungsspannung für ISOMETER® zuschalten.
Inbetriebnahme-Assistent ausführen und die vom Inbetriebnahme-
Assistenten geforderten Einstellungen durchführen.
3. Selbsttest durchführen
Das Gerät führt einen vierstufigen Selbsttest durch, die Alarmrelais
werden dabei nicht geprüft. Nach dessen Ende erscheint im Display
der ermittelte Isolationswiderstand. Liegt er über den in der unters-
ten Zeile eingeblendeten Ansprechwerten, wird zusätzlich die Mel-
dung „OK" angezeigt. Wird während des Selbsttests ein Fehler
erkannt, erscheint im Display eine Fehlermeldung.
4. Funktion mit einem echten Isolationsfehler prüfen.
Das ISOMETER® ist am überwachten Netz z. B. mit einem dafür geeig-
neten Widerstand gegen Erde zu prüfen.
Inbetriebnahme-Assistent
Bis der Inbetriebnahme-Assistent abgeschlossen ist,
sind die Relais abgefallen.
Den Inbetriebnahme-Assistenten können Sie auch manuell auf-
rufen über den Menüpfad: 6. Geräte Einstell. / 6. Inbetriebnahme.
Verwenden Sie für die Navigation im Menü und die Einstellung von
Parametern die abgebildeten Tasten.

Commissioning of the device
The profile "power circuits" is suitable for most IT sys-
tems. For a description of the profiles refer to the manu-
al.
Initial commissioning
When the device is operated for the first time after switching on
the operating voltage, a commissioning wizard appears on the
display and guides you through the commissioning process step
by step. The commissioning procedure is illustrated below.
General commissioning process
1. Check that the ISOMETER® is properly connected to the system to
be monitored.
2. Connect the supply voltage to the ISOMETER®.
Execute the commissioning wizard and carry out the settings
required by the commissioning wizard.
3. Carry out a self test
The device carries out a self test in four steps. However, the alarm
relays are not checked during this test. After completion of the test,
the measured insulation resistance is shown on the display. If the
value exceeds the response values indicated at the bottom of the
display, the message "OK" will additionally be displayed. If a fault is
detected during the self test, a fault message will appear on the dis-
play.
4. Check the function using a genuine insulation fault.
Check the ISOMETER® in the system being monitored, e.g. using a
suitable resistance against earth.
Commissioning wizard
The relays are de-energised until the commissioning
process is finished.
The menu can be manually invoked in the commissioning wizard
via the menu path: 6. Device settings / 6. Commissioning
To navigate within the menu and for parameter settings,
use the buttons shown below.
