Die Kupplungen können entweder eine Radial– (∆ Kr) oder eine
Winkelverlagerung (∆ Kw) aufnehmen. Sorgfältiges und genaues
Ausrichten der Wellen erhöht die Lebensdauer der Kupplungen.
Die zu verbindenden Wellenenden sollten unmittelbar vor und
hinter der Kupplung gelagert werden. Umlaufende Teile müssen
vom Anwender gegen unbeabsichtigtes Berühren geschützt
werden (Sicherheit von Maschinen siehe DIN EN 292 Teil 2).
