6. STORAGE
All respirators are stored in a clean, dry environment away from any contaminants. You may store your Honeywell PRIMAIR PLUS
series headgear in its original box, any carrying case, or in an enclosed wall case with other respirator components (Compact Air
series).
1) The headgear may be left attached to the breathing tube and belt assembly, or it can be removed for storage.
2) Store the respirator components in a clean environment away from contaminants. If the cloth cover of your head cover assembly
will be reused, store it so it will not contaminate other respirator components, including the interior of the headgear.
3) If any parts are missing, damaged or worn, replace them or tag your respirator for repair. DO NOT STORE A RESPIRATOR
WITH DAMAGED OR MISSING PARTS.
Do not tuck any surplus material of a used hood, including the bib, into the headgear assembly. This will
contaminate the internal breathing area and can result in serious injury, illness or death.
Do not expose the head cover assembly to excessive heat (above 60° C), moisture or contaminating
substances during storage. Excessive heat may distort components, exposing the user to the risk of injury,
illness or death.

The complete assembly includes one disposable loose fitting hood and one adjustable headgear.
