Chapter 6. Troubleshooting
Problems
Blades continue to rotate when
pedal is released.
The shaver blade does
not rotate.
No shaver suction.
"Default" on LCD.
Cause
Circuit problem.
Pump is on Stop.
The foot pedal is not connected.
The handpiece is not connected.
The shaver blade is obstructed.
The suction toggle is closed.
Handpiece malfunction.

Possible solutions
Turn off the unit (I/0 switch, on
the back panel).
Wait one minute, then restart
the unit.
Press Run/Stop.
Connect the foot pedal.
Connect the handpiece.
Disassemble the blade and
clean it.
Open suction toggle.
Return handpiece to FMS
Service Department.
