Do not run the engine when the battery is discon-
nected.
SEAT SWITCH (Senator - President)
A switch must be mounted underneath the seat.
This switch plays an important role in the ma-
chine's safety system.
Upon delivery, the switch hangs with its cables in
the seat bracket. To facilitate assembly, remove the
switch from the cables.
Then assemble the switch on the underside of the
seat using the screws N (fig. 6).
Reconnect the switch to the cables. The cables can
be connected to any pin. Assemble the seat as be-
low.
SEAT
Mount the seat on the seat bracket (fig. 7).
In the holes at the rear, the screws H should be
used, together with the shoulder washers G. Tight-
en the screws.
Then place the knobs I with the washers J in the
front holes.
The seat can be adjusted horizontally. Place the
seat in the desired position and then tighten the
knobs.
The seat is collapsible. If the machine is parked
outdoors when it is raining, collapse the seat for-
wards to protect the seat cushion from the wet.
A warming and protecting seat cover is available
as an accessory for the Pro16, Pro18 and Pro20
models. It can be ordered from your retailer.
ARMRESTS (Pro20)
The armrests with assembly parts are delivered in
a separate box.
First, screw in the left and right attachments to the
seat using the six enclosed screws (fig. 8).
Then, fix the armrests into the attachments. Place
one spacer (1) on each side of the attachment in-
side the armrest. Tighten with screw (2) and nut
(3), but make sure that you can lift up the armrest.
STEERING WHEEL
To compensate for any axial play, use the shims E
and/or F.
First check how many (if any at all) shims are

needed.
Then assemble the steering wheel by knocking in
the tensioner pin D (fig. 9).
TOW PLATE
Fasten the tow plate K in the two holes on the un-
derside of the bumper using the screws L and the
nuts M (fig. 10). Thoroughly tighten the screws.
IMPLEMENT ATTACHMENT
NOTE! If mower deck model 107M is to be used,
do not assemble the enclosed implement attach-
ment. The implement attachment should be used
for other accessories.
Remove the locking pin and the outermost flat
washer from the front axle trunnion.
Assemble one of the implement attachments (C)
on the axle trunnion. Replace the flat washer and
lock it in place with the locking pin (fig. 11).
Assemble the other implement attachment on the
opposite side.
TYRE INFLATION PRESSURE
Check the tyre inflation pressure. The correct pres-
sure should be:
Front: 0.6 bar (9 psi), Rear: 0.4 bar (6 psi)
IMPLEMENT LIFTER
Senator-President-Royal-Pro16:
Fasten the lift link T to the machine's lift arm by
using the screw Y, the wing nuts X and one nut U.
Normally the middle hole in the lift link should be
used (fig. 12).
Then fasten the spring S to the lift link by using the
screw V and the other nut U.
Pro18-Pro20:
Fasten the bent lift arm O to the machine's lift arm
by using the screws Q and the nuts P (fig. 13).
Hook the chain R on to the bent lift arm. Squeeze
the top S-hook together so the chain does not come
loose from the lift arm.
All: Then hook the lower S-hook on to the mower
deck.
ACCESSORIES
To assemble accessories, refer to separate assem-
bly instructions enclosed with each accessory. The
mower deck is referred to as an accessory.
