5.3.2.5 Program E - ALU 3

For alloy rims with clip on wheel weights on the rim edge
and adhesive wheel weights on the inner side of the rim

The distance between machine and rim is automatical-
ly detected.
Extend the outside gauge to the position 1 and hold in
place until an audible signal is heard.
Move the inside gauge directly to position 3 and hold
until another audible signal is heard.
Return the gauge to the home position.
Another signal indicates that it is in the home position.
BM 10-2
Enter rim diameter manually via the +/- button.
! The actual value is automatically stored when ano-
ther button is pressed or the wheel guard is closed to
start the measuring run.
BM 11 / 20-2 / 30-2 / 40-2 / 50-2
The rim diameter is automatically detected together
with the distance by the inner gauge arm.
! The rim width is not of meaning in this balancing pro-
gram

For alloy and steel rims with a clip on weight on the left
rim edge and an adhesive weight below the right rim
edge

The distance between machine and rim is automatical-
ly detected.
Extend the outside gauge to the position 1 and hold in
place until an audible signal is heard.
Replace the gauge back into its home position.
A further audible signal is heard for the confi rmation that
the arm has reached ist home position.
