Start-Up

Setting up the device


The device needs to be mounted on a stand or a laboratory lattice with the aid of the
supplied support rod before start-up (see chapter "Assembly, support rod and chuck",
section "Mounting the support rod").
Attention:
Risk of the device slipping!
If the device is mounted on a stand, the vibrations generated during
operation can cause the device to move across the installation surface
and slide off.
The installation surface must be smooth and clean. It must also be as
level as possible.
Attention:
Possible loosening of the device!
The vibrations generated during operation could cause clamping
screws, which are used to connect the device to the stand or the
laboratory lattice, to loosen.
Carefully tighten all of the clamping screws. Check that the screws are
securely tightened at regular intervals.
Setting up the device
➜ Assemble the device on a solid, smooth and level surface.
➜ Clean the installation surface and the base of the stand at regular intervals.
