 Connect the self-contained breathing apparatus, airline
equipment or respiratory filter.
 If using self-contained breathing apparatuses or airline
equipment:
Check the proper fit by turning and pulling the lung demand valve
vigorously. Have a second person check the tightness and correct
connection.
WARNING
!
Make sure that the full face mask is perfectly tight!
If the full face mask leaks, there is a danger of inhaling toxic
substances!
Use with a respiratory filter
Screwing in the respiratory filter
 Completely remove the seal strip and screw the respiratory filter
tightly into the connector.
Service life
The respiratory filter's service life is dependent on the contaminant
concentration and type of filter, among other things.

During use

Low temperatures
Protect the inside of uncoated visors against fogging up with "klar-
pilot" anti-mist gel. Do not wipe coated visors.
High temperatures/alternating thermal stress
WARNING
!
If bubbles appear in the visor, it is a sign that the visor is
becoming soft. In this case leave the danger zone
immediately, as the full face mask can begin to leak.
The coating of visors marked PC/CC may dissolve in some places.
The functioning of the full face mask is not affected by this. It will
remain usable until the end of the job. Replace visor after use.
Chemicals
Some substances can be absorbed by the material of the full face
mask or may even diffuse through it. Further information can be
obtained from Dräger.

After use

 Remove the lung demand valve or the respiratory filter.
 Dispose of the respiratory filter.
 Remove the full face mask:
Put your index fingers behind the flaps
of the neck straps, push the adjusting
clamps forward with your thumbs and
pull the full face mask away from your
face and over your head at the same
time.
CAUTION
!
Do not grab full face mask by the connector and pull it off your
face, since the mask may become damaged.
