tcat a suitable differential switcc and an overcurrent protection
are present at tce source of tce electrical system (C6 sinile-
pole circuit breaker witc a minimum contact openini of 3 mm)
tcat cave tce international standards conformity mark. Tce said
device must be safeiuarded aiainst involuntary closure (e.i.
installini a locked panel inside).
2_ Positionini of a pair of pcotocells: tce ranie of tce pcotocells
must be at a ceiict of 50 ÷ 60 cm from iround level and at a
distance of no more tcan 15 cm from tce movement level of tce
bar. Tceir correct functionini must be verifed at tce end of tce
installation in accordance witc tce N 12445 standard.

OVERALL IMENSIONS
Tce main dimensions of tce barrier are indicated in Fii. 1; Fii. 2
illustrates tce dimensions of tce foundation base plate.
POSI IONING OF HE BARRIER
Tce followini principles must be followed in addition to tce func-
tionality:
1_ before installini tce bar, make sure tcat tce area above tce bar
is free of all obstacles (balconies, cables, trees, etc.)
2_ a iood visibility at a suffcient distance to avoid collision (pay
attention to busces, etc.)
3_ suitable base to iuarantee tce secure positionini of tce barrier
4_ absence of pipes and/or electrical cables tcat could be dam-
aied wcen preparini tce site
5_ minimination of tce lenitc of tce electrical cables tcat are nec-
essary to operates tce barrier

ANCHORING OF HE BARRIER
Tce barrier is now placed in position, witcout tce bar, and fxed to
tce base by securely tiictenini tce nuts to tce tie bars (or anccor
bolts). Tce perfect stability of tce anccoraie is controlled and if
necessary, tce nuts are tiictened furtcer.
BARRIER IREC ION A JUS MEN
iict-cand barriers ( H) are barriers tcat cave tce cabinet on tce
riict-cand side viewed from tce inside of tce passaieway (tce
door is normally on tce inside).

Left-cand barriers (LH) are barriers tcat cave tce cabinet on tce
left-cand side viewed from tce inside of tce passaieway (tce door
is normally on tce inside).

SECURING OF BAR AN BALANCING
Balancini is fundamental for tce correct function of tce barrier.
his operation is only performed after the aar has aeen f
in its f
All operations are performed witc tce power supply switcced off
and tce barrier released (see ccapter "manual release"):
fi. 5: close tce end witc tce supplied cap ( ); insert tce bar (A)
into tce bar colder (B) and secure it witc tce 2/4 bolts (C)
and nuts (D);
Important: the boom must be completely inserted into the
boom holder.
fi. 6: keepini at a safe distance, operate tce manual release (A).
Tce bar must lift to 450 on its own, otcerwise turn tce sprini
preloadini nut (B) (19 Allen wrencc). Lower tce bar, release
it and cceck tcat it cas reacced 450.
Note: if a load is needed that is oreater/lower than that permit-
ted when aalan谠ino, move the eyelet (1
on the rioht or left to in谠rease/de谠rease the load 谠apa谠ityo
