The GEMÜ 1104 opening stroke limiter should only be installed after installation of the

valve body has been completed.
2 Funktionsbeschreibung / Functional description
Durch die Öff nungshubbegrenzung GEMÜ 1104 werden pneumatische Linearantriebe von
GEMÜ Absperrklappen, Kugelhähnen, Membranventilen und Sitzventilen nicht vollständig
geöff net. Somit wird der maximale Durchfl uss eines Ventils begrenzt. Der Hub lässt sich
durch das Handrad einfach regeln.
The GEMÜ 1104 opening stroke limiter prevents the pneumatic linear actuators of GEMÜ
butterfl y, ball, diaphragm and globe valves from allowing the valves to open fully. This limits
the maximum fl ow through the valve. The handwheel allows simple control of the stroke.
