These factors will tend to cause oxidation on all metallic parts. As a result of this, au-
tomatic cover pins and slats, telescopic shelters and heat exchangers can lead to irre-
versible deterioration (discoloration) of the pool lining. In such case it is strongly recom-
mended to check the levels of chlorine and pH each week with your usual analysis kit.
If the manufacturer's responsibility was engaged for a malfunction of the controller box
device, this would be limited to the repair or to the replacement of the product free of
charge.

WINTERIZING
When cloosing down the pool for the winter, drain and/or stop the filtration and do the following:
• Remove the pH probe from the sleeve. Keep it in its original protection filled with clean water
(or in a glass), and in a place where it will not freeze during winter.
• Make sure to close the holder on the pipe with the supplied plug.
• Rinse the flexible pipe of the peristaltic pump on the control box with clean water.
START UP AND AFTER ANY CHANGES OF THE PROBE
The pH probe is calibrated form the factory the first time it is used; therefore no calibration is need-
ed at the initial startup of the unit.
When starting a new season with the pH probe, or after any change of the probe, it is of the most
importance to calibrate the pH probe to insure an optimal pH regualtion of the water.
This is how it is done:
1. Unscrew then remove the nut and pH probe from the probe holder. Use provided plug to seal
orifice.
2. Press 3 sec on C, the LED flashes
3. Put the pH probe in a pH 7 solution (not
provided). The standard solution should
only be used once. Cast it after use.
4. Press 3 sec. on C, the LED flashes while
calibrating the probe.
5. When the probe is calibrated, the LED
above 7.0 stops flashing. The device is now ready for the actual pH reading of the pool water.
If the LOW LED shines, it is because the probe is worn and needs to be changed. Contact the man-
ufacturer to get a new probe, and make a new calibration.
In case of wrong manipulation, cancel by pressing (D) for 3 sec.
