Fitting of the adjustment sleeve on hard pipe ø 50
1) Grind the pipe-ends with sandpaper on the outside approx. 2 cm.
2) Attach the pipes directly on the adjusting sleeve with PVC glue.
MOUNTING THE CONTROL BOX
• Select an easily accessible location, close to the filter and pump installation - optionally mount it
directly on the filter tank with the enclosed strips.
• Easy pH and other electrical installations must be placed dry and kept protected from rain,
splashing, water spray and UV-radiation.
• Mount the control box vertically and at a distance of more than 3.5 meters from the pool's edge.
• The control box must be permanently connected to the same power supply unit as that of
the filter pump. Power supply MUST be grounded and be connected to the HPFI relay of the
house. ALWAYS use watertight plugs and junction boxes outdoors and avoid the use of exten-
sion cords.
• Optionally connect the power supply via an external RCD adapter for extra security.
• Easy pH has no power switch and turns on when power is connected. Therefore, make sure
that the main switch is turned off when installing.
• Make sure that the control box turns off when the filter pump stops.
IMPORTANT!
Any contact between the control box and the water in the pool may present a risk of
electric shock.
THE FITTING OF THE ACCESSORIES
• Place the adjustment sleeve in the middle of the horizontal tube (with a minimal length of 40
cm), as illustrated in the above charts. Apply Teflon on the thread and mount the probe holder.
• Remove the protection from the pH-probe and place the probe in the probe holder (make sure
the probe is not in contact with the tube).
• Combine the cable with the BNC-connector, from the bottom of the control box to the pH probe.
Keep this cable away from any other electrical cables in order to avoid electromagnetic interfer-
ence, which can distort the measurements.
• Place the second holder after the first. Apply Teflon on the thread and mount the injection con-
nector into the holder. The injection connector should be closest to the reflux for the pool.
• Connect the sugtion strainer to the pH pump with the enclosed semi flexible tube. Respect the
indicated direction of the navigation arrow at the top of the pH pump.
• Connect the outlet from the pH pump with the injection connector using the rest of the semi
flexible tube.
