Games
The app contains various games which ensure that planking is more fun. The distraction
also makes the time go faster and you can keep going for longer.
1. Select Games from the menu.
2. Select the game you want by swiping to the left or right until it is positioned in the
middle of the screen.
3. Select the level of diffi culty you want (easy, normal, hard).
4. Place your smartphone / tablet on the Plankpad (see the "The Correct Position of the
Smartphone / Tablet" chapter).
5. Tap on the screen when you are ready. You have fi ve seconds to get into the correct
position (see the "The Correct Posture" chapter) before the game starts.
6. Follow the game and keep going for as long as possible. When you do so, you should
still always pay attention to having the correct posture.
Workouts
The app contains various workouts. The various exercises are shown in videos which
are easy to replicate.
The workouts are more diffi cult than the games. It is therefore advisable only to
start with these once you have been training with the Plankpad for some time.
1. Select Workout from the menu.
2. Select the required workout time (min. 30 sec. up to max. 240 sec.). The workouts
are divided up into 30-second intervals. A 90-second workout therefore consists of
three different exercises.
3. Place your smartphone / tablet on the Plankpad (see the "The Correct Position of the
Smartphone / Tablet" chapter).
4. You have fi ve seconds to get into the correct position (see the "The Correct Posture"
chapter) before the video starts.
5. Follow the workout. Stay as straight and stable as possible and try not to wobble too
much. If you wobble too much, the video will turn red to indicate that you need to cor-
rect your posture. The bar at the bottom edge of the screen shows the tilt to the sides.
The aim is to keep the dot in the middle of the bar as much as possible.
Use as Balance Board
The Plankpad can also be used as a balance board to train the lower part of your body
and your sense of balance. In this case, you train standing on the Plankpad.
• We recommend that you train barefoot as this will increase the effect of the
training.
• The games contained in the app are also recommended as balance games.
• Beginners should get help from a second person when standing on the device.
As the smartphone / tablet must also be positioned centrally on the Plankpad when you
use it standing up (see the "The Correct Position of the Smartphone / Tablet" chapter),
it is advisable to connect the mobile device to the Smart TV in order to guarantee an
upright posture (see the "TV Use" section).
