The valve is supplied fitted for one-pipe operation.
The valve must be fitted with connections facing the wall and always with the
probe vertical. The connection to the pipes does not have a compulsory inlet or
outlet direction. To exclude the heating body, close the manual knob and close
the obturator (1) with a 5 mm hexagonal key.
The installation procedure is as follows:
Fig. 1 The probe is inserted in the probe holder and it protrudes by the amount
necessary to couple with the plastic deflector. Check that the probe is
located correctly in the 2 mm seat of deflector (2). This ensures adequate
circulation of the thermal medium.

Fig. 3 Unscrew the valve, insert and tighten the probe unit on the radiator with
a 19 mm hex wrench by means of a suitable sealing material (PTFE
tape, plumber's hemp).

Fig. 5 Align the end of the probe with the deflector mounted on the valve body,
taking care to avoid contact between the probe holder and probe and the
deflector to avoid damaging it (fig. 5), which could otherwise impair the
tightness and correct operation of the valve. To perform this operation you
will need to rotate the radiator, supported on the wall brackets, to create
the required clearance between the probe holder and the deflector.

Das Ventil wird mit Vorrüstung für den Einrohr-Betrieb geliefert.
Das Ventil muss mit zur Wand gerichteten Anschlüssen montiert werden; der
Fühler muss hierbei immer senkrecht positioniert sein. Bezüglich des
Anschlusses der Leitungen ist eine Richtung für den Ein- und Auslauf nicht
vorgeschrieben. Zur Ausschließung des Heizkörpers vom Betrieb müssen der
manuelle Regler und der Schieber (1) geschlossen werden, Letzterer mit einem
5-mm-Sechskantschlüssel.
Zur Installation ist folgendermaßen vorzugehen:
Abb. 1 Der Fühler sitzt in seiner Halterung und steht so weit heraus, wie es für
den Anschluss an das Zwischenstück aus Kunststoff erforderlich ist.
Sicherstellen, dass der Temperaturfühler richtig bis zum Anschlag im
2 mm tiefen Sitz des Zwischenstücks (2) positioniert wird. Nur so kann
das Wärmeträgermedium korrekt zirkulieren.

Fühlerhalterung noch der Fühler das Zwischenstück aus Kunststoff
beschädigen (Abb. 5) und dadurch das Ventil undicht wird und nicht
mehr einwandfrei funktioniert. Dazu den auf den Halterungen an der
Wand sitzenden Heizkörper so drehen, dass der richtige Abstand
zwischen Fühlerhalterung und Zwischenstück geschaffen wird.
