8.12 Settings on electronic positioner

The positioner is mounted on a bracket with four fastening screws on the motor plate (Fig. 10).
9.

Heating element

Fastening the heating element is displayed in Fig. 11.
The heating element must always be connected to a power supply.
The heating element is equipped with a thermostat. This thermostat activates the heating element as soon as the surface temperature of the heating element casing falls under
75°C.
Connection is carried out according to the connection diagram (Fig. 1).

Position feedback module for the Repos (I/Y-Modul)

The position feedback module is fixed to the mounting bracket with four fastening screws (Fig. 12).
Connection is carried out according to the connection diagram, see separate operating instructions.

RElog

Fixed to the mounting bracket with four fastening screws (Fig. 13).
Connection is carried out according to the connection diagram, see separate operating instructions.

REtrans

Fixed to the mounting bracket with four fastening screws (Fig. 14).
Connection is to be carried out according to the connection diagram, see separate operating instructions REtrans-8010.
13.

Exchanging component parts

13.1 Changing the connection circuit board
Warning! Observe safety guidelines
The actuator must be activated.
•
To change the connection circuit board, remove the sliding carriage (Fig. 18 Pos. 520).
•
Disassemble the circuit board holder from the motor plate.
•
Remove the force switch lever (Fig. 18, Pos. 510).
•
Remove the connection circuit board (Fig. 18, Pos. 430) from the circuit board holder.
•
Screw on the new connection circuit board.
•
Put the force switch lever (Fig. 18, Pos. 510) onto the pin of the circuit board holder.
•
Fix the force switch lever with a tension plate.
•
Mount the circuit board holder onto the motor plate.
•
Attach the sliding carriage.
•
Electrical connection is carried out according to the electrical connection diagram.
Warning! If the actuator with the adaption stem is fitted with an integrated transmission (nominal stroke of over 60mm) an exchange may only be performed by a service
technician from the Regeltechnik Kornwestheim GmbH company.
13.2 Exchanging the motor group

The actuator must be activated.

•
Remove the motor plug from the connection board.
• Disassemble the BLDC controller (BLDC motor group Fig. 15)
•
Remove the fastening screws on the motor.
• Replace the motor group
•
Mount the new motor and connect the plug.

Maintenance, repair work

The drive is maintenance-free.
The drive may only be cleaned using a mild soap solution.
