Important notes

Important information on copyright, liability and warran-
ty provisions, as well as on equipment users and com-
pany obligations, can be found in the separate manual
"Important notes on and safety instructions for Bosch
Test Equipment". These instructions must be carefully
studied prior to start-up, connection and operation of
the BEA 950 and must always be heeded.

instructions for Bosch Test Equipment". These instruc-
tions must be carefully studied prior to start-up, con-
nection and operation of the BEA 950 and must always
be heeded.
2.3

Wireless connections

Users of wireless systems are responsible for com-
pliance with the applicable directives and restric-
tions in the country concerned.
A "wireless system" in the sense of the European Direc-
tive RED 2014/53/EU (Radio Equipment Directive) is
an electrical or electronic product (component) that
transmits and/or receives radio waves as permitted for
the purpose of wireless communication and/or radiolo-
cation.
WLAN and Bluetooth instructions can be found in the
separate instructions "Important information for wire-
less connections and Connected Repair (CoRe)". These
instructions must be carefully studied prior to start-up,
connection and operation of the BEA 950 and must
always be observed.

BEA 950 bears the CE mark in accordance with the ap-
plicable EC Directives. The EC Declaration of Confor-

The Bosch Emissions Analyzer, hereafter referred to as
BEA, is used to perform user-friendly emissions test on
vehicles. The BEA can be used to test all gasoline and
diesel vehicles used on public roads for which emission
tests are required during workshop visits in order to
comply with legal requirements and for the purpose of
localizing and rectifying faults.

If the BEA 950 and the supplied accessories are
operated contrary to the way specified by the manu-
facturer in the operating instructions, the protection
provided by the BEA 950 and the supplied accesso-
ries may be compromised.
