Operation

Open lever (J) to draw mixed water, see fold-out
page III, Fig. [11].
Open handle (H) to draw off filtered water.
Filter capacity indicator (H1) in the handle:
- Continuous light (
More than 10% filter capacity/remaining service life
- Flashing light (
Less than 10% filter capacity/remaining service life
=> Order filter cartridge
- Flashing light (
Less than 1% filter capacity/remaining service life
=> Change filter cartridge
- Light flashing quickly (
No filter capacity/remaining service life
=> Filter cartridge must be changed

Maintenance

Inspect and clean all components and replace if necessary.
The supply voltage must generally be disconnected
before carrying out maintenance work on the fitting.
Plug-in connectors (F) and (E1) can then be
disconnected, see Fig. [6].
I. Cartridge (K), see fold-out page III, Fig. [12].
1. Shut off hot and cold water supply.
2. Lever out plug (L) and loosen set screw (M).
3. Remove lever (J) and cap (N).
4. Loosen screw coupling (O) and remove cartridge (K).
Assemble in reverse order.
When installing cartridge (K), ensure that the seals are
correctly seated. Screw in screw coupling (O) and tighten.
II. Ceramic headpart (P), see Fig. [13].
1. Shut off hot and cold water supply.
2. Close handle (H) and remove.
3. Remove indicator component (H2).
4. Remove snap insert (R) and stop (S).
5. Replace complete ceramic headpart (P) or O-ring (P1).
Assemble in reverse order.
Observe the correct installation position of stop (S).

III. Filter cartridge (D), see fold-out page II, Fig. [4], fold-out
page III, Figs. [10] and [11].
A spent filter cartridge is indicated by a quickly flashing
indicator (H1) in handle (H), see Fig. [11].
Note: Replacement filter cartridges can be ordered at
www.groheblue.grohe.com.
Following storage and transport at temperatures
below 0°C, the filter cartridge must be stored in its
opened original packaging at the specified ambient
temperatures for 24 hours before commissioning.
1. Shut off cold water supply.
2. Open locking handle (B1) and remove filter cartridge (D)
vertically downwards, see Fig. [4].
Note: Filter cartridge (D) can be swivelled forwards
through 90° in wall holder (A) for easier removal.
3. Remove protective cover (D1) and insert new filter
cartridge (D) vertically in filter head (B), see Fig. [4].
Observe the correct installation position!
4. Turn locking handle (B1) until filter cartridge (D) engages
audibly.
5. Open cold water supply once more.
Flush filter cartridge (D), see fold-out page II, Fig. [9].
Note: Collect water escaping from hose (B2) in a suitable
container (capacity at least 2 litres).
1. Open handle (H).
2. Press flush valve (I) on filter head (B) and flush filter
system.
3. Continue flushing until the emerging water is clear and free
of bubbles (at least 2 litres).
Reset control unit (E) after changing filter, see Fig. [10]:
1. Touch red indicator lamp (E3) of control unit (E)
for 5 to 7 seconds (red indicator lamp lights up
for 5 seconds).
2. Confirm within 5 seconds by touching the red indicator lamp
twice (red indicator lamp flashes 3x).
Start over if the red indicator lamp does not flash.
IV. Mousseur
Remove and clean mousseur (64 374), see fold-out page I.
Assemble in reverse order.
