Using Ellison AllStar
with the RollModel Adapter Pad
With the use of the RollModel Adapter Pad (sold separately), the RollModel is
compatible with the complete line of Ellison AllStar Dies, as well as Sizzix Bigz
and Originals Dies.
Place the Adapter Pad on top of the RollModel Sliding Tray. Remember to place
the dies with the rubber side facing up. Then follow Steps 2-5 in Operating
Instructions.
Remember that dies must be placed rubber side up on the Sliding Tray.


RollModel Machine.
Use the RollModel Machine to cut a variety of different materials. See

Materials Guide on pages 11 and 12 for suggestions.
Fewer sheets of material should be used when cutting very complicated shapes.

When cutting felt, poly foam or delicate materials, place a scrap of paper over

the material to be cut.
A convenient way to store the dies is on their sides. Place the Die Storage

Rack on its side so the dies sit vertically in the rack, not horizontally. Insert
the dies alphabetically in the rack from left to right, so they are easier to find
and replace. The dies will also slide into the slot with greater ease and are
less likely to catch on the shelf divider. (Not applicable for the Wall Storage
Rack, the Work Station Rack or Carousel.)
It is important to use the Die Pick (included in the Tool Kit) to clean out the

bits of paper and other material that build up in the joints of the dies (where
the cutting rule meets). If dies are not kept clean, the scraps will
eventually push the rule slightly apart. Cleaning is especially important if
cutting thick materials such as Flexible Magnetic Sheets, Pop-Up Sponge
or Self-Adhesive Felt.
