Turning the Sliding Tray

WARNING
With extreme care, pull the Tray back from the Rollers until it stops. Gently
push down on the end of the Tray opposite the Roller Cover, then pull the
Tray over and past the Rollers.
With the Tray completely out of the machine, elevate the Tray so it is not
resting on the Tray Stops.
Remove the screws from the Tray Stops using a Philips screwdriver (Figure I).
Once both Stops are removed, flip the Tray over and replace the Tray Stops
and screws.
Reinsert the Tray into the machine.

Troubleshooting Solutions

1. When cutting multiple sheets of material, the cutting is incomplete.
It may be necessary to use fewer sheets of material with intricate shapes (e.g.,
Snowflake or Spider).
2. The Sliding Tray has a slight curve or bow in it.
Sliding Tray needs to be turned over. See Turning the Sliding Tray (Figure I).
3. After replacing a worn Upper Roller, dies are not pulled through the machine.
The square post at the end of the Roller has not completely settled into the
corresponding square pocket at the end of the Bell/Crank Handle. Rotate the
Roller by hand until you feel the post slip into its pocket. See Replacing the
Upper Roller (page 8).
4. The rubber on the die is worn, missing or loose.
Use yellow woodworking glue to attach loose rubber to the dies. If the rubber is
worn or missing, call Ellison for re-rubbering information.
5. Rubber does not eject all parts of the cut material.
Use the Die Pick to remove excess material after each use. If rubber is worn or
missing, call Ellison for re-rubbering information.
