• Go on turning the knurled knob until the cut depth indicator
located on the blade holder has reached about half of its stroke.
Then start scraping the pipe surface by turning the turning knob
of the scraper arm clockwise.
• When you are done scraping, hold down the trigger at the handle
of the scraper arm and turn the knurled knob counter-clockwise to
lift the blade off of the pie surface. Then push the quick release
and pull the scraper arm and its spindle out of the seat of the
clamp fingers in the pipe.
• Release the clamp fingers inside the pipe by turning the hexagonal
knob clockwise with the socket key. Then pull the clamp seat and
the clamps out of the butt of the pipe.

Maintenance and Storage
5.1
General
• Replace damaged parts immediately.
• When servicing the product, always use genuine spare parts.
• Store in a dry location.
• Protect from strong vibrations and shocks.
5.2
Maintenance
• Keep movable parts clean and clean and lubricate them regularly,
in particular the clamp fingers and their seat as well as the scraper
arm.
5.3
Storage
• When the scraping/peeling tool is not in use, store it in its dedi-
cated transport box.
