5.1.2 Installing the expansion tool JRG Sanipex MT

Slide the expansion mandrel over
the piston rod.
The tension unit is fitted over the
joint rod. (Grooves of the tension
cheeks against the ring grips of
the work cylinder.)

Dimensions
Please ensure that the dimensions of the expansion mandrel fit those
of the tension cheeks (see colour Codes)

Tighten front knurled screw by hand.
The expansion tool is ready for the
flaring process.
