Connection of the expansion tools

• Connect the hydraulic coupling (1) to the hydraulic nipple (24) of the correspon
ding expansion tool.
• Switch on hydraulic unit on the main switch (21).
Remark
Impurification
Please make sure, that the hydraulic nipple and the hydraulic cou-
pling are free of any contamination.
The device is now ready for operation for expanding pipe ends.
(Installation procedure, refer to chapter 5.1.1).
3.5 Changing / Removing the expansion tools
Remark
Change of tools
During the expanding process the expanding unit should not be dis-
connected ! The expanding process is finish if the expanding man-
drel is completely returned.
• Retract the coupling sleeve of the hydraulic coupling (1) and disconnect the
hydraulic hose (2) from the expansion tool.
• Connect the hydraulic coupling (1) to the hydraulic nipple (24) of the required
expansion tool.
The device is now ready for operation for expanding pipe ends.
(Installation procedure, refer to chapter 5.1.1).
3.6 Connecting the bending device
• Setting-up the bending device (refer to 5.2.1).
• Switch off hydraulic unit on the main switch (21).
• Connect the hydraulic coupling (1) to the hydraulic nipple (32) of the bending
device.

pling are free of any contamination.
