A second DCC 8 plus can be connected to the DCC 8 plus panel as Slave. The function of the Slave
is to double the light and sound indication and the button control of the first panel at a distance up
to 1000 m. For the purpose, both panels have to be specified by setting a jumper on the Master
position of the main module, and the Slave - with a jumper on the Slave position (see Figure 1).
The panel can be expanded to accommodate a maximum of 16 zones or a further 8 sounder
circuits. Additionally the panel can also be connected to 2 "RM 8 modules" allowing up to 16
zones programmable relays.

11.1 Connecting a repeater panel

When adding a repeater panel in the fire system:
Turn off the main and the stand-by power supplies.
Connect the repeater to the first DCC 8 plus - see Figures 1, 2 and 3.
Set a jumper on the "Master" position of the main panel.
Set a jumper on the "Slave" position of the second panel.
Turn on the main and the stand-by power supplies of the Slave panel.
Turn on the main and the stand-by power supplies of the Master panel.
