When used in combination with the optionally available DigiTrace NGC-UIT and
DigiTrace RMM2 units, the DigiTrace NGC-20-C(L)-E controllers are able to read
temperatures from up to 6 remote temperature sources (RTD type) via the RS485
network.

The DigiTrace RMM2 units are used to read remote temperature inputs. One RMM2 device
supports up to 8 RTD inputs. A maximum of 16 RMM2 units can be connected on one
network. The DigiTrace NGC-UIT will collect up the temperatures from the RMM2 units
and distribute it to the required DigiTrace NGC-20 controller. Please refer to the
MONI-RMM2 datasheet and installation instructions for more details.
Figure 9 shows the electrical connection diagram of the DigiTrace NGC-20 controller.
The limiter temperature sensor connection is only applicable with the DigiTrace
NGC-20-CL-E. The optional second Pt100 temperature sensor for the control unit is
omitted for clarity.
