3 Cleaning and care
3.1 Cleaning
WARNING: Never use gasoline, solvent, abrasive cleaning
agents, metal objects or hard brushes to clean the appliance.
WARNING: Never immerse the appliance or its power cable
in water or in any other liquid.
WARNING: Use a dry cloth to wipe the water droplets that
appear on the sensor glass after consecutive coffee-making
cycles.
WARNING: Never wash the coffee pot (4) in dishwasher.
Descaling
3.1.2
To clean the stains (deposits) that might appear in the coffee-making re-
servoir in time without harming the inner base surface, pour one dessert
spoon of citric acid crystals to the coffee-making reservoir and pour boi-
ling water on it, so that water fills 1/3 of the pot. Wait for 10 minutes. At
the end of the waiting process, you can rinse the coffee-making reservoir
(4) and use it again.
WARNING: If you do not perform the descaling process for a
long time, the base of the water reservoir of the appliance gets
covered with lime and becomes inoperable.
