PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS

• T his Child Car Seat is approved for "Group 0+/1", for
the transport of children from birth up to 18 Kg of
weight, and conforms to European norm ECE R 44/04.
• T his Child Car Seat has been classified as "Universal", and
can therefore be fitted into any car model. WARNING!
"Universal" means that it fits most, but not all, car seats.

IMPORTANT WARNING

1. T his is a «Universal" child restraint. It is approved to Re-
gulation No. 44.04 series of amendments, for general
use in vehicles, and it will fit most, but not all car seats.
2. A correct fit is likely if the vehicle manufacturer has
declared that the vehicle is capable of accepting a
"Universal" child restraint for this age group.
3. T his child restraint has been classified as "Universal"
under more stringent conditions than those that were
applied to earlier designs not displaying this notice.
4. O nly suitable if the vehicle is fitted with a 3-point
static or 3-point retractor safety belt approved to
UN/ECE Regulation No. 16, or other equivalent
standards.
5. I f in doubt, consult either the child restraint manu-
facturer or the retailer.
PRODUCT AND CAR SEAT USE RESTRICTIONS
AND REQUIREMENTS
WARNING! Please read carefully the following product
and car seat use restrictions and requirements. Failure
to comply with these instructions may affect the safe-
ty of your child.
• T his Child Car Seat is approved for use only for
children between 0 and 18 kg of weight (from birth
up to 3 years of age, approximately).
• T he car seat must be fitted with a 3-point static or
3-point retractor safety belt, approved to UNI/ECE No.
16 regulation or other equivalent standards (Diag. 3).
• W ARNING! Never fit the Child Car Seat to a seat that
is only equipped with a 2-point safety belt (Diag. 4).
• T he Child Car Seat may be fitted into the front pas-
senger seat or any rear seat. Never use this Child Car
Seat on side-facing or rear-facing car seats (Diag. 5).
• T his product is expressly intended to be used only as a
Child Car Seat; it should not be used indoors.
• M ake sure that the buckle seat belt is not too high
(Diag 8 -12). Otherwise, try to install the car seat for
your child on another car seat in the car.
HOW TO FIT THE CHILD CAR SEAT INTO THE CAR
FOR GROUP 0+ (From 0 up to 13 kg)
WARNING! When it is used for Group 0+ (from 0 up
to 13 kg), always fit the Child Car Seat in a rearward-
facing direction. If the front seat of the car is equipped
with an airbag, deactivate the airbag before fitting the
Child Car Seat. Danger of death or serious injuries.
WARNING! The points through which the safety belt
must pass for fitting for Group 0+ (from 0 up to 13 kg)
are highlighted in LIGHT BLUE.
WARNING! Never use the insert pillow if the child wei-
ghs over 6 kg.
• A djust the Child Car Seat to the most reclined posi-
tion with the handle K. (Diag. 6)
• P osition the Child Car Seat on the car seat in a re-
arward-facing position. ( Diag. 7)
• I nsert the 3-point safety belt of the car between the
seat and the base of the Child Car Seat, passing the
