Service Inspection
WIKING recommends a thorough service inspection every other year, so that your wood-
burning stove will last for many years. The service inspection must be performed by a qualified
serviceman, and only original spare parts should be used .
Among other things, a service inspection includes:

A thorough cleaning of the stove .
•
Greasing of the hinges with copper grease .
•
Inspection of the heat-insulating plates (the vermiculite set) .
•
Check that the regulating lever moves smoothly .
•
Inspection of the seals and the replacement of worn parts .
