General notes

WARNING
The appliance must be destined exclusively to the use it was designed for. Any other use shall be
considered improper and therefore unreasonable. The manufacturer shall not be considered
responsible for any damages caused by improper, wrong and unreasonable uses. The appliance
must be used by professionally qualified personnel only.
Please read carefully the instructions and
warnings contained in this manual, since they
provide important information about appliance
use and functioning.
If power cable needs to be replaced, replace
it with a cable that is recommended by the
manufacturer.
The appliance is electrically safe only when the
appliance is correctly connected to a grounded
electric system.
Qualified personnel only shall assess this funda-
mental requirement. Manufacturer and installer
shall not be held responsible for any damages
caused by the lack or inefficiency of system grounding.
Some fundamental rules shall be followed when
using any electric appliance:
• Do not use the appliance when hands/feet are
wet or when you are barefoot.
• Persons with reduced physical, sense or mental
faculties, or lacking experience / knowledge
(children included) shall not operate the appliance
unless a person responsible for their safety
has provided them with proper surveillance or
instructions.
• Unplug the appliance from the electric system
before carrying out any cleaning or ordinary
maintenance.
• Do not put the appliance under a jet of water, nor
plunge it into the water to clean it.
• Do not leave the appliance switched-on and
unattended for long periods (e.g. 1 day).
• In order to ensure the efficiency and correct
functioning of the appliance, it is necessary to follow
the instructions provided by the manufacturer and to
carry out its ordinary maintenance.
• The temperature of the environment surrounding
the appliance must be between 5° and 35°C.
In case the appliance is temporarily placed in an
environment where the temperature is below 0°C,
please contact a local Technical Service authorised
by the manufacturer.
• In case of breakdown and/or malfunctioning,
switch off the appliance and refrain from trying to
repair it. Consult a local Technical Service that is
authorised by the manufacturer.
