The speed variator is usually supplied WITHOUT OIL, unless different indication on the
plate of the variator.
Before running, fill of oil using the correct quantity and type (see Variators Lubrication).
When starting a new variator (or a variator after a long stocking), make run it for 15/20
minutes without load at low speed.
For best results from the variator, we advise adhering to a range between 900 and 1450
rpm at the input shaft.
Progressive variation of the output speed in both directions of rotation is obtained by
operating the adjusting control. Inversion of motion can also be obtained through the
control.

INPUT ROTATION
Input rotation is both-directional,
clockwise.
SPEED LIMITER DEVICE
To limit or exclude the adjustment in the counterclockwise
rotation: after reducing by handwheel to limit speed or zero
rpm on output shaft, turn nut 1 out and turn screw 2 in till
reaches the adjusting ring.
To limit or exclude the clockwise rotation: turn nut 4 out and
turn screw 3 in till it reaches the adjusting ring (after setting
TORQUE LIMITER DEVICE
The system works like a torque limiter, adju-
stable by two screws with lock nut for fixing. By
screwing you increase the maximum torque, by
unscrewing you decrease it.
