CIRCULATION PUMP CHECKS

Durante installation the circulation pump can be forced to operate for 15 minutes from the window on the "Pumps" checking
display; in this way air in the final phase of filling the system with water is purged.
The circulation pump can run in different modes depending on the requirements of the system to which the unit is connected:
Continuous pump operation (factory setting of parameter "PUMP SAMPLING (TIME OFF)"=0)
The pump switches off when the water set-point is reached; the pump activates periodically to verify the water temperature
in the circuit. The sampling cycle is defined by the value set in parameter "PUMP SAMPLING (TIME OFF" (e.g. "PUMP
SAMPLING (TIME OFF"=10 the pump activates for one minute in every ten with the set-point reached).
The system and DHW circuit pumps anti-locking function is active while the system is in standby mode or with the set point
satisfied; when the "PUMP ANTI-LOCKING FUNCTION" parameter =1 this function is enabled "PUMP ANTI-LOCKING TIME"
sets every how many hours the start-up is set for and parameter "PUMP ANTI-LOCKING TIME" sets how long the pump is to
run during the anti-locking cycle.
The above parameters can be set in the Service window.

AUXILIARY EXTERNAL HEAT SOURCE MANAGEMENT

In heating or domestic water production mode, the control replaces the heat pump unit, via parameter "EXTERNAL HEATER
MANAGEMENT" =1, if the outside air temperature is below a preset value (parameter "OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE FOR
ACTIVATING HEATER ELEMENTS").
The above parameters can be set in the Service window.

DOMESTIC WATER PRODUCTION
With Aquadue, because of a water/water pump built into the internal unit, high temperature domestic hot water can be produced
(up to 75°C), without the need for any electrical heater elements, at the same time as the air conditioning function and independent
of the outside air temperature.
The domestic hot water production, up to the maximum temperature of the parameter "Maximum DHW temperature for DHW_A",
is entrusted to the start up of the main heat pump (external unit that uses the internal unit main exchanger) changing the three-
way valve in the internal unit.
On reaching the "Maximum DHW temperature for DHW _A", the main heat pump will continue to work in air conditioning mode
is required and the water/water heat pump built into the internal unit will produce domestic hot water until the parameter set point
"Domestic hot water temperature" is reached.
During domestic water production by the main heat pump, the system dispenses the maximum power possible to rapidly meet
the request for domestic hot water.
To produce domestic hot water the appliance must be connected to a tank with an internal exchanger or to a storage tank with
instantaneous domestic hot water production; direct domestic hot water production by the Aquadue unit is not permitted.
The domestic hot water request can take place in the following ways:
By means of a contact (5/L) setting the parameter "DHW request setting" to 1; in this case set the outside thermostat to a
temperature lower than 70°C.
By means of a temperature sensor fitted inside the domestic hot water tank setting the parameter "DHW request setting" to
2; in this case the set point is set with the parameter "DHW SET POINT".
With the parameter "DHW request setting" at 0, the domestic hot water production is disabled
Using the "storage tank temperature hysteresis" parameter, the hysteresis cycle of the tank temperature check can also be
checked.
In the domestic hot water tank the temperature sensor T3 provided in the internal module must always be fitted and connected.
The above parameters can be set in the Service window.

second ECO mode set point: with the clean contact open the Set point selected is, depending on the mode
selected, the "Cooling set point" or the "Heating set point"; with the contact closed the Set point selected is,
depending on the mode selected, the "ECO cooling set point" or the "ECO heating set point".
night-time mode selection activation: with the free contact open the function is disabled, with the contact closed
the function is active
(already connected to the terminal board of the internal unit 5/L): domestic water heating activation: with the
free contact open domestic water mode is disabled; with the contact closed domestic water mode is enabled
cooling or heating mode activation/inhibition. when the contact is open, the domestic water function remains
active. It may also be connected to a chrono-thermostat or in parallel to the chiller/boiler contacts of the electronic
controls of fan coils Bi2 and Bi2+.
The contacts must be closed on terminal L
The remote contacts of terminals 1 and 2 are enabled using parameter "REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM"=2
