File
Recorded audio data from the starting point to
the ending point is saved as a file.
The saved data is called a file.
Folder
Status
This is where files are stored. This unit has the
indicator
following folders.
• "MIC" folder for microphone recording
• "LINE" folder for files recorded from other
• "MUSIC" folder for music ( ➜ page 25).
Up to 199 files can be recorded in the "MIC"
and "LINE" folders.
Folders are created in the internal memory.
When an SD card ( ➜ page 24) is inserted,
folders are created in the same way on the SD
card.

In this manual, microSD/microSDHC card is
written as "SD card".
When the "MUSIC" folder is selected for the
first time after the unit is turned on, the status
indicator blinks, "
" is displayed on the
screen, and the track list is updated.
Selecting the folder
• When the unit is not in the stop state, press
[STOP g/RETURN].
Press [FOLDER].

Each press:
If no file has been transferred to the
"MUSIC" folder, the current time is
displayed.
If the SD card is selected, "SD" is displayed
on the screen. (See below)
