• Figure A: to remove the blade attachment 2 hold both the bottom part of the de-
vice and the blade attachment firmly with one hand each and then turn the blade
attachment slightly anticlockwise and remove it.
• Figure A: to attach the blade attachment 2, put it on the device (take note of the
markings) and turn it slightly clockwise. The blade attachment must sit firmly on the
device.

6.3 Changing the comb attachments

• Figure B: to attach the comb attachments 1, push the comb attachment on top of
the blade attachment 2. Then, press it downwards on both sides until it engages au-
dibly. Make sure that the comb attachment is firmly secured.
Removing
• To remove, pull one of the side tabs of the comb attachment 1 slightly to the side
and remove it.

6.4 Trimming a beard

• Comb the beard in the direction that it grows.
• If you want to shorten your beard hair significantly, start with the 5 mm comb at-
tachment 1, then take the 3 mm comb attachment and finally the 1 mm comb at-
tachment. Shorten your beard step-by-step.
• Full beard:
Trim the beard downwards from ear to chin. Trim one side and then the other.
Moustache:
Start at the centre above the mouth and trim first one side, then the other.
