STOPPING THE MOTORCYCLE AND THE ENGINE

- Close the throttle (1) completely so that the engine
will help slow down the motorcycle.
- Apply both front (2) and rear (3) brakes while down-
shifting (for fast deceleration, press firmly on the
front brake lever and on the rear brake pedal at the
same time).
- When stopped, pull the clutch lever (4) and shift
gear lever (5) into the neutral position.
- To stop the engine, turn key (6) to OFF (key removal
position).
