12. VAPOR SEPARATOR/PRESSURE
REGULATOR/FUEL PUMP (HIGH
PRESSURE SIDE)
WARNING
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
You can be burned or seriously injured when handling fuel.
• Keep heat, sparks and flame away.
• Wipe up spills immediately.
• Handle fuel only outdoors.
a. REMOVAL
Remove the following parts.
- Engine cover (P. 4-2)
- Intake manifold assembly (P. 5-90)
1) Disconnect the water tube A and water tube C from the
vapor separator.
2) Disconnect the air vent tube A, air vent tube B and the fuel
tube C from the vapor separator.
3) Disconnect the fuel pump 2P connector.
4) Remove the air vent tube clamp from the pressure
regulator control tube.
5) Disconnect the pressure regulator control tube from the
pressure regulator.
