SETTING UP , START-UP AND OPERATION

1 Make sure that the mains voltage is as specified on the data plate at the rear of the cleaner.
2 Remove the cover and place the object for cleaning in the basket of the tank.
Fill the tank to at least 2/3 full with cold water until the slots
of the plastic basket are covered. Do not use water that is preheated to over 35°C.
The objects for cleaning must be totally immersed.
3 Add 2 doses of Active Liquid Centrostyle detergent using the lid of the bottle.
Concentrated detergents dilute in water from 0.5% to 3% max, giving
optimum cleaning results.
4 Put the cover on the tank and make sure that the ON/OFF

5 Press the switch

Basic version, Ref. 5400.

This model can perform preset washing cycles of 2, 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20 minutes.
1 Select the desired time using the "Stop" key ¾.
Each time it is pressed the luminous LED indicator ¸ moves and emits a
"beep"as confirmation.
2 Press the "Start" key µ to begin the cleaning cycle.
3 The LED ¸ which indicates the selected time flashes and changes position,
signalling
altered during the cleaning cycle.
4 Press the "Stop" key ¾ at any time during washing to stop the cleaner.
5 The washing cycle finishes with a triple acoustic "beep". The LED ¸
remains lit for the reminder of the time set.
Washing cycles can be performed using 2 different types of vibration: continuous or
pulsating (explanation on Page 9). The 2 types of vibration are selected in succession
holding down the "Start" key µ for 5 sec.
The last washing cycle used is stored in the memory even if the cleaner is switched off
for several days.
This model is not equipped with independent tank heating.
However, the liquid detergent heats up during operation due to the effect
of the ultrasonic energy.
After running for about 10 minutes, the water heats up; its temperature
increases in proportion to the cleaner's use. If it is running in
continuous mode it can reach more than 50°C. This is to be considered normal.
