TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
When the rear
switch is opera-
ted, the cleaner does
not switch on.
When the washing
cycle is operated, the
cleaner does not vi-
brate.
Unsatisfactory
cleaning results
after washing
cycle.
When the washing
cycle is activated,
vibration is limited
and irregular.
Warning: If the remedies described above do not solve the problem, do not attempt any other work
yourself but contact your nearest Service Centre. Never attempt to repair electrical or mechanical parts
yourself. Never refer repairs to unauthorised personnel.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Disconnect the power cable from the mains before performing any cleaning or maintenance.
• Use a dry brush or a clean cloth slightly dampened in water. Do not use solvents
or other potentially aggressive substances. Do not spray liquids directly on to the
cleaner. Do not use abrasive cleaning materials.
• Clean the dirt that has deposited in the steel tank using a sponge or cloth at
regular intervals. Never place the entire cleaner under running water.
• Check the mains power cable and the plugs for wear or damage at regular
intervals; ensure that there are no cracks in the body.
Cause
1 The mains power cable is disconnec-
ted or not plugged in correctly.
2 There is no mains voltage.
1 Model with heating:
the cleaner is on stand-by and is wai-
ting for the water to be heated.
2 The high temperature reached has
triggered the protection.
(Ref. 5410 and Ref. 5420)
3 The time is set to zero.
(excluding Ref. 5400)
1 The water + detergent solution is no
longer effective.
2 Very dirty object for washing.
3 Cycles too short and/or temperatures
too low
1 The objects placed in the tank are
too heavy and/or too large
2 Very little or no liquid in the tank.
Remedy
1 Check that the power cable is properly plugged
into the mains socket and into the cleaner.
Check that the mains power cable is not damaged
2 Check that the mains power is reaching the soc-
ket.
1 Wait for the water to reach the set
temperature or force starting pressing

2 Wait for the

3 Set a time of at least 1 minute.
1 Change the detergent solution,
clean the tank before filling it.
