7. Attaching the battery to the monitor
• Insert the correct battery into the battery plate until it clicks into place.
• Removing the battery: Press the unlock button on the side and pull and lift
the battery out of the compartment.
7.1 Using the power supply unit (optional) DC 12 V:
• Insert the cable plug into the power supply unit of the device.
• Then connect the power supply unit to the mains. Note: Only connect the device
to a grounded socket.
NOTE
Never operate the monitor with battery and AC adapter at the same time!
It is not possible to charge the battery on the monitor using the AC adapter.
NOTE
Compare the local power supply to the connected load of the device. If the
values differ, please contact info@walser.de.
8. Button Operation Instructions
Before setting the functions, please make sure the device is connected correctly.
8.1 Function keys
Power switch button: Switches the device on or off.
MENU: Menu pops up. After menu pops up, press " " or " " to move left or right to
choose a menu or " " or " " to move down or up in the chosen menu.

In submenus, use " " or " ". After value adjustment, press "MENU" to confirm
and exit.
" ": When no menu displays, this button is for volume decrease.
" ": When no menu displays, this button is for volume increase.
" ": If you are in the menu, navigate downwards with this button.
" ": If you are in the menu, navigate upwards with this button.
F1/F2 Custom button: To set the function for the custom buttons, enter the menu,
press " "or " " to select and enter into F function menu, then press „ " or " "
button to choose the corresponding custom button symbol, such as F1, and then
press " " or " " button to pop up custom button, press „ " or " " to select the
desired function (Center Marker, Safe Frames, Check Field, Focus Assist, Aspect
Ratio, Image Flip, P2P, Image Freeze, Camera Mode, Backlight). After selection,
then press MENU button to confirm and exit to the next item.
8.2 Menu Instructions
NOTE
These settings have no influence on the material recorded.
Image Color
Pic Mode: Standard, Dynamic, Mild, User
Select 'user' to individually adjust Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Sharpness.
Brightness: 0~100
To adjust image's brightness.
Contrast: 0~100
To adjust the brightest and the darkest ratio of the image. Beware of clipping.
Saturation: 0~100
To adjust color concentration.
Sharpness: 0~100
This is an indicator for the image plane definition and image edge sharpness. If
sharpness is high, then the details contrast on the image is higher, the image is
more clear.
Color Temp.: 6500, 9300, User
When selecting „user", you can adjust the R/G/B individually to the different users'
requirements for different color temperatures.
Tint: 0~100:
To adjust the image cool and warm tint.
