5.1 Disassembly of actuator
Actuator top 10 is under
spring pressure!

1. Separate actuator from control medium.
2. Remove loose compressor 3.
3. Remove protective cap SA2.
4. Remove optical position indicator SA1.
5. Remove protective caps 29.
6. Clamp actuator in a press.

Applied pressure too high!
P Risk of breakage of actuator
top 10!
Only use minimum required

pressure.
7. Undo and remove bolts 12 with
washers 13 between actuator top 10
and actuator base 16.
8. Slowly release the press.

9. Remove actuator top 10.
10. Remove spring set comprising
compression springs 7, 8 and 26 from

actuator base 16.

After disassembly, clean all parts

of contamination (do not damage
parts). Check parts for potential
damage, replace if necessary (only
use genuine parts from GEMÜ).
