Setting the current time
• Turn off the LIGHT and FAN.
• Press and hold the TIMER button for 2-3 seconds. The display shows [12:00] and
the [12] flashes. Press the FAN button to adjust the time in 1-hour steps to [23]. Press
the LIGHT button to reset the hours backward to minimum [00]. As soon as you
have set the hour, confirm the entry with the TIMER key.
• The minute display flashes [00]. Press the FAN button to adjust the time in 1-minute
increments from [01] to[59]. Press the LIGHT button to reset the minutes backward
to minimum [00]. Once you have set the minutes, confirm your entry with the TIMER
button.
Setting the off timer
• Turn off the LIGHT and FAN.
• Now you can set a time between [00:01] and [60:00] minutes after which the
hood will automatically close.
• Press the TIMER button once. The display shows [05:00]. Press the FAN button
to adjust the time in 1-minute increments until [60:00]. Press the LIGHT button to
adjust the time in 1 minute steps backward to [00:00] minute. At [00:00] the hood
automatically turns off and the backlight remains lit for 30 seconds. If no adjustment
is made during this time, it switches off automatically.
Note: The next time you start the timer function, the last setting will be automatically
accepted if you do not change the time within 5 seconds.
Temperature control protection
The extractor hood automatically measures its surface temperature. If the surface
temperature of the extractor hood ≤ is 61 °C , the fan does not run automatically. If the
surface temperature of the extractor hood > 61 °C ist, the fan runs automatically at high
speed. When the FAN button flashes, the surface temperature is < 52 °C and the hood
returns to its initial state.
