Installing activated carbon filters (not supplied)
Activated carbon filters can be used to bind odors. Normally the activated carbon filter
should be changed at 3 or 6 months according to your cooking habit. The installation of
the activated carbon filter is carried out as described below.
Replacing activated carbon filter
• Put the carbon filter on the back side of the aluminium filter.
• Insert the steel wire into the frame of the aluminum filter, one on each side. Bend the
wire to attach it to the other end of the frame.
• Make sure the steel wire fixes the activated carbon filter to the aluminum filter.
Note: Make sure the filter is securely locked. Otherwise, it may loosen and cause
danger.
When activated carbon filter attached, the suction power will be lowered.
