If the transmitter has the option Mass flow, the mass flow rate is available as an additional physical quantity.
To calculate the operating density of the medium in dependence on the concentration and the temperature, an algorithm is
used that has been defined in the program FluxKoef and transmitted to the transmitter:

The mass flow rate is calculated from the operating density and the volumetric flow rate.:

Installation of Temperature Measurement

The temperature is measured by:
• connecting a temperature probe to the temperature input of the transmitter or
• connecting an external temperature measurement to the current input of the transmitter
FLEXIM Temperature Probe Pt100, Pt1000
The temperature probe has to be installed close to the flow transducers in order to obtain temperature values at the mea-
suring point.
• Connect the temperature probe to the temperature input T1 of the transmitter.
• Select the type of the temperature probe:
