6. Cleaning of the casing puller

6.1 Daily cleaning

Unscrew screw no. 27 and swing out the finger protection no. 26. Rinse hot water along the knife (on
both sides) forwards on to the knife protection. At the same time turn on the knife several times
shortly. Wash the part around the finger protection well.

6.2 Additional measures

In order to remove compressed dirt, the fender no. 15 and the support angel no.. 21 as well as the
finger protection no. 26 have to be dismantled.
6.3 Knife – Replacement
In order to change the knife follow these instructions: Unscrew screws no. 16 and 22. Remove the
support angel no. 21 and the fender no. 15. Loose and remove the screws no. 27. Swing out the
finger protection no. 26. Loose and remove screw no. 24. The knife can now be replaced.
6.4 Messer – Montage
In order to mount the knife again mount the knife no. 23, the support slice no. 25 and the screw no.
24. Attention: Watch out for the correct position of the support slice no. 25 and for a smooth-running
operation of the knife no. 23. The knife has to be induced in the nut of the back beam no. 14. Check
screw no. 20. Torque = 2.5Nm to 3Nm. Fasten the finger protection no. 26 with the screw no. 27. Set
the fender no. 15 with the screw no. 16 to the ideal position with knife no. 23. Mount the support angel
no. 21 with the screws no. 22 to the ideal position.
