Please note: These instructions
include the use, care and cautions
of the DGR-I, DGR-II and DGR-0
reusable perforators. Use caution
when selecting appropriate model
for use in specific skull areas and
skull conditions.
CAUTION:
ACRA-CUT cranial perforators
are very sharp, therefore cut and
respond differently than other brand
perforators. To ensure safe and
reliable performance, carefully read
and follow instructions. Failure
to follow instructions for use may
result in serious patient injury, death
or product malfunction.

DGR-I and DGR-0
Perforators
All Model DGR-I and DGR-0
reusable perforators are
designed to automatically
release and stop upon
penetration of bone at least
3mm thick. Caution should
be taken to avoid use on the
temporal and suboccipital areas
and on children and/or infants.
DGR-II Perforators
All Model DGR-II reusable
perforators are for use on
thin skull/skull areas such
as pediatric, temporal, and
suboccipital areas. They are
designed to automatically
release and stop upon
penetration of bone as thin as
1mm. Caution should be taken
to avoid excessive force when
drilling thin skulls to prevent
pushing the entire unit through
the skull.
INSTRUCTIONS
1.0 Remove Drill from case:
With the ACRA-CUT letters
facing you, place your left
index finger and thumb above
and below the arrow on the
locking cover. Hold the case
with your right hand, and with
your left hand pull the cover to
the left and lift. (See Picture 1)
