Keep children younger than 8 years of age and animals away

CAUTION: Hot surfaces! The motor unit / telescopic rod
will become hot during use. You should therefore not touch
it during or shortly after use.
CAUTION: hot steam! This device works with hot steam!
Operate the device with caution.
The device must always be switched off and disconnected from
■
the mains power when it is not being used, before assembling,
disassembling, fi lling or emptying the water tank or cleaning the
device.
Do not make any modifi cations to the device. If the connect-
■
ing cable of the device is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its customer service department or a similarly
qualifi ed person (e. g. a specialist workshop) in order to avoid
any hazards.
Allow the device to cool down completely before the water tank
■
is emptied and / or the device is cleaned and stored away.
It is essential to follow the instructions in the "Cleaning and
■
Storage" chapter.
DANGER – Danger of Electric Shock
■ Use the device only in closed rooms.
■ Do not use the device in rooms with high humidity.
■ Never immerse the device and the connecting cable in water or other liquids and
ensure that they cannot fall into water or become wet.
■ Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not
attempt to pull it out of the water while it is still connected to the mains power!
■ Never touch the device and the connecting cable with wet hands when these compo-
nents are connected to the mains power.
■ Never exceed the maximum fi ll level of the water tank to prevent overfl owing (Note
the MAX marking on the measuring cup and in the water tank!).
■ Steam may rise during operation. For this reason, do not place the device under other
electronic devices.
