Make sure that the mains cable is not crushed, bent, pulled over sharp corners/
edges or risks being damaged in any other foreseeable way. Keep the mains lead
away from hot surfaces and naked flames. Never allow the mains lead to come
into contact with the rotating fan blades.
Run the mains lead in such a way that there is no risk of any one tripping over it.
When using extension leads, always ensure that they are suitable for use with
the product.
Never handle or use the product with damp hands or whenever it stands on a wet
surface. Never handle the mains lead with wet or moist hands.
Never open the casing. Never attempt to insert foreign objects into any of
the openings found in the casing or the protective grille.
Only use accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer or retailer.
Only use original spare parts and accessories.
Keep the product away from hot surfaces and naked flame sources. Do not expose
the product to extreme temperatures, dust, direct sunlight, moisture, drips or splashes.
Never place burning candles, vases or drinks on, or in close proximity of the product.
This product can be used by children from 8 years and above if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the safe use of the appliance and are
able to fully comprehend the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the product and its mains lead out of reach of children under the age of 8.
The product may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or persons with a lack of experience or knowledge which could
jeopardize their safety, provided they have been instructed in the safe operation
of the product and understand the hazards involved. Never let children play with
the product.
The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use the product if the mains
lead or plug is damaged.
The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent the risk of electric
shock or fire and should only be carried out by the manufacturer, qualified service
facility or qualified technician.
Always grip the plug when unplugging the product, never pull the mains lead.
Never wind the mains lead around the product.
Connect the product to an easily accessible electrical outlet so that it is easy to
unplug should any hazardous situation suddenly arise. Unplug the mains lead from
the power point to turn off the product completely and to isolate it from the mains.
Unplug the product from the wall socket if it is not to be used for an extended period.
If the mains lead becomes overheated during use, unplug the product from
the wall socket and do not continue to use the product.
Never leave the product unattended during use.
Always turn off the product before unplugging it.
Do not use the product where explosive substances or flammable gases are used
or stored.
Always switch the product off before attempting to move it.
Always place the product on a flat, stable surface.
Always unplug the mains lead from the wall socket before any servicing or maintenance.
Do not move the appliance during operation.
