Sensors installation
Prior to installation, select a suitable location. The sensors
should be located in a place that provides:
•
proper field of view, with no parts of the vehicle within its
sensing area which in turn could disturb their operation.
•
close adhesion to car's body
•
the sensors' axis should be parallel to the surface of the
road surface
•
before drilling the holes in vehicle's body, make sure to
select location in which you will not damage any electrical
cables, brake system, fuel tank etc.
•
before drilling a hole, determine the best way to run the
cables through the vehicle. Ensure the cables does not
interfere any safety equipment nor reduce safety of the
vehicle.
DOUBLE CHECK BEFORE YOU DRILL! Look out for cables,
sensors, lines, anything that could get damaged.
Before drilling, mark the intended drilling spots according to
spacing marked on the illustration below:
