34. Always keep the appliance and power cord out of the reach
of children.
35. Children must be supervised, so that they do not play with the
appliance.
36. Pull the plug after every use. Only then, the appliance is fully
switched off.
37. Use only cold tap water in the water tank. Do not use any

other liquid.
38. Never use the espresso machine without water in the water
tank.
39. Always make sure to correctly insert the portafilter into the
brewing head before using the appliance to make coffee.
40. Never touch the hot appliance parts like the steam / hot water
outlet, the metal part of the portafilter or the filter insert dur-
ing or shortly after use. Only touch the heat insulated handles,
buttons or selectors.
41. Never remove the portafilter while the appliance is in the pro-
cess of brewing – the appliance is under pressure!
42. Do not leave the espresso machine unattended when in use.
This applies especially when children are nearby.
43. CAUTION: the appliance becomes very hot during use! Allow
the appliance to cool down before removing or attaching
parts, moving, relocating or cleaning it.
44. Do not place anything other than cups on top of the shelf of
the appliance. Do not place any other object on the espresso
machine!
45. Keep the appliance and accessories clean. Please refer to the
information given in the manual.
46. Oils or lubricants must not be used with this appliance.
47. The ambient temperature for use and storage should not come
below 0 °C.
