The 3M Utbnann® Electronic Stethoscope Model 3100 is designed to be used by anyone Who
described in the Intended Use section above. This manual provides complete information on ,how

Functional Description
The Model 3100 electronic stethoscope picks up sounds, such as heart and lung sounds, from a patie
amplification and filtering, the sounds are sent to the user through a binaural headset. The

The user interface for the stethoscope includes a 5-button keypad and an LCD display. Sound processing is
with the aid of a digital signal processor. Stethoscope power is provided by a single M battery in the ch~iece. A
management system is included to prolong battery life.

Each Littmann Electronic Stethoscope Model 3100 comes with a unique serial number for easy identification. Please record
