connection to the 12 V voltage supply
[The third terminal "FG" (housing ground)
of the terminal strip remains unconnected.]
2 Applications
The b/w cameras TVCCD-450 and TVCCD-
460 as well as the colour cameras TVCCD-
450COL and TVCCD-460COL have been de-
signed for the use in video monitoring systems.
Lenses with automatic iris control (AI lenses or
DC lenses) as well as lenses with manual iris
adjustment may be used. For lenses with man-
ual iris adjustment the cameras are provided
with an automatic electronic shutter.
Furthermore, the cameras are equipped with
an automatic gain control (AGC) and a switch-
able backlight compensation.

3 Safety Notes

The camera corresponds to the directive
89/336/EEC for electromagnetic compatibility.
The camera is only suitable for indoor use.
For outside mounting it must be placed into
a weatherproof housing.
Protect the camera against impurities, hu-
midity, and heat (admissible ambient tem-
perature range 0 – 40 °C).
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no
means chemicals or water.
